Countdown..
Good morning world! / Selamat pagi!
20 days left until take off!!! For you guys that don’t know, I’m going to Bali!!! :)
I thought I would share some things about Bali that might be good to know for a first timer in Indonesia.
Bali is one of 18,307 islands in Indonesia. Yes you read right, 18K. Indonesia is the world's largest island country. Can you imagine that some of these island has never been visited?!
The island is surrounded by coral reefs. Beaches in the south tend to have white sand while those in the north and west have black sand. Pretty cool if you ask me..
I’m not fan of diving because I’m afraid of the deep, I don’t know what’s under me and I don’t know what to expect. I might be overreacting but I’m so afraid of sharks, I just don’t want to be near them. There might not be any sharks in Bali, but in my head, they are wherever the coral reefs are. So, I’m just gonna avoid jumping out of a boat in the middle of the sea part..
However, Bali is known for its rice paddies, coffee, volcanic mountains, and the beautiful beaches. It might be a small island but it has a lot to offer and I’m ready to explore it all!
